No. 4 | A 10-Minute Yoga Flow for Your Heart
Practicing heart opening postures not only improve our posture and increase our lung capacity, they also physically and mentally open us up to give and receive love. When we feel threatened or insecure, our natural tendency is to hunch over to protect our hearts from danger. However, it’s only when we allow our hearts to be vulnerable that we experience true love and connection.
As you practice today, I encourage you to take some time to reflect. Ask yourself if there’s anything you’re holding onto. How can you better position yourself to give and receive love? Who do you need to open your heart to? There’s a power in vulnerability. Don’t be afraid to open yourself to the possibilities of living with an unshielded heart.
